October was beautiful but November got an awful viral infection. November so far. Just a dump of the last couple of weeks. I still smile through the illness too. 😬😬. As long as I can eat I’m happy. Throat felt like broken glass. Body was aching. But we are nearly 100% again.

But during that period. Stunning bridals created, beautiful bridal consultations, bridal in process and my love for the only trend I’ve actually fallen for, the matcha trend. 🫣🫣😂😂 because I actually like the taste. Now I make mine at home.

Included in here me dying of a bad viral infection. Tried my best to recover fast with all sorts of yakhnis and soups and steaming and ginger tea and joshanda and resting but still took too long. 6 days it took me to freakin recover. Not good. Had to cancel a whole exhibition for the first time ever because of it. But luckily the bridal and client work still carries on. When you have a good team it does keep ticking over.

Thank you to all my well wishers. Just want you all to know how much I appreciate you all. Have so much love for all of you and I don’t think I say it enough. I think a giveaway is on the horizon as I’m feeling a lot of love. 😆😆. I’m also starting focussing on our community page again @boldeeya which you have all shared and confided so much with me on. Have learnt so much from those who have been through life and trying to support those who are going through it. I honestly can’t tell you how proud I am of that community and getting back on it. I lost my focus and forgot why I started it in the first place and why I loved it so much. A lot I want to do and trying to keep the focus.

I will be back up in no time In’Sha’Allah. No biggie. For now it’s me and my bed. I def made the right decision to rest.

Running a business and managing everything takes a toll on health. We become so addicted to growing and taking it from one level to the next and the next that we forget we are only human and the lack of sleep and the high level of cortisol being produced with being constantly under stress dealing with one thing or another and the balancing act with motherhood and then eating like there was tomorrow will take a toll at some point. We just don’t know when but for me it was between 2023 and 2024. I started feeling different. I wasn’t enjoying my work anymore coz of the excessive admin and retail pressures I had taken on over the 5 year period that I had to deal with which meant I was just constantly stressed. In 2024 I started losing my hair. It was literally coming out in clumps and because my mum had suffered from alopecia it really worried me. I got all the blood tests done. Everything was clear. Iron levels were fine. I had already changed my bad overeating habits. I was oiling my hair regularly. I then asked you all and you recommended I go for it as scared as I was and I def feel it has helped alongwith everything else I changed in my life to deal with this situation. It’s not easy when you are the boss. I knew I had to let go of the retail premises and instead move near my colleagues in London for that extra support so I could better manage my time with my girls going through GCSEs soon which I did in Jan 2025 and am so happy I did. Your body will give you signs to slow down and you have to listen to those signs.

Ok so few things. Follow @nadiabari1 for more of my ageing journey. It’s all an uphill struggle now but I’m on this fixing journey getting rid of excessive stress in life and doing as much as I can without blindly saying yes because of my niceness 😬😬. All good.

Ok so skin stuff. Thinking of going for the polynucleotide which I can’t pronounce properly or prp which I’ve already had in my scalp so I know what to expect with that. Scared about the rest. Hydra-facial is as far as I’ve gone on the face which I love but not helping the eyes. A lot of people have mentioned these to me in previous post and I’ve done research on it and seems like a good option. Not sure if it will help me or not and I am going to hold off for a bit before I make my final decision but that’s what I’m thinking. Just wanted to share it with you. Might as well be transparent about it all rather than hide away.

My middle daughter has a growth spurt mid term. So needed to get her school shoes. Done that today. Two demands she had. Shiny and laces. Sorted. My eldest also wanted to go to the cinema with a friend so office today was the car whilst I waited on them which I’m happy to do because when I’m away from noise I am 100 times more productive than when sitting at home or in a cafe. Everything done for today. Including our yearly festive shoot which I am very excited about.
